October 27th, 2009Zerocredit_UK been sorting some hotels in Tamworth for those coming on public transport - have a few ideas for local haunts for the lift sharers, which I'll be posting very soon.
October 20th, 2009philcampbell guessing we need to talk about people staying over the night before as well. try and get some local places, pubs maybe - we wanted the YHA but it is fully booked that weekend which is a big shame because that would have been PERFECT.

October 15th, 2009philcampbell an unstyled but main site for all things conkertu will be over here http://conkertu.tumblr.com - we will link an official domain/theme styling to it as we progress over the next week or so. i'm working on this theme and others - we will put information up as we release it. i'm in hope also that a geo location mapping system will be in place for some of the geo photos i have taken around the site and intend to pad them out more before the actual event with example media.

October 12th, 2009ibstock_does To help offset some CO2 from folks travelling to Conkers Tweetup I can donate Hazel, Holly and Oak saplings. Just need a small patch of land, stakes & guards @Conkers or Sarah's Wood and a little help from my hyper-local friends with transport of these local provenance trees. We could then disseminate proceedings on the net
