Let's Break the Tweetup Record!
Join LSU Athletics as we attempt to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest attendance at a Tweetup event at the 2010 LSU National L Club Spring Football Game on March 27 at 3 p.m. The current record is held by the Ford Motor Company, with 1,149 people. LSU has the best fans in the world, so we are sure to shatter the existing record.

What is a Tweetup?
A tweetup is an event where people who Twitter come together to meet in person. What better place to meet than Tiger Stadium to watch LSU Football.

How do I participate?
First, sign the GUEST LIST to the right. To participate and help LSU own a Guinness Book World Record, you need to report to the South Lawn of LSU's Tiger Stadium to check in beginning at 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with kickoff set to begin at 3 p.m.

But I don't have a Twitter Account.
That's ok you still can participate by reporting to the South Lawn of Tiger Stadium beginning at 1:30 p.m. If you want you can get a free account at Twitter.com. All you need is a valid email address.

Does LSU have other Twitter Accounts?
Why yes we do. You can follow tweets from LSU coaches, sports, and even Mike the Tiger himself. LSUsports.net/twitter

Spring Game Ticket Information
Fans can receive complimentary tickets to the contest by bringing in a coupon that can be downloaded here to the LSU Athletic Ticket Office prior to Saturday, March 27. To print the redeemable coupon, click on the spring game logo on www.LSUtix.net. In exchange for redeeming the coupon at the LSU Athletic Ticket Office, fans will receive free tickets for the contest. Another way to claim admission to the game is by printing a ticket online from home. To print from home, go to www.LSUtix.net, click the "Promo Code" icon and then enter the promo code SPRINGGAME10. There is a $1 service charge for this option. Those fans waiting until the day of the game to get their tickets for the LSU National L-Club Spring Football Game will pay $5 for admission.
