In honor of @elizabethpw's bucket list of "epic" proportions, Lily from www.LilyBellyDance.com and other members of the Sabaya Bellydancing Collective would love to host a private group bellydancing lesson for some brave SXSWi women. Check your ego at the door. Cost is $15/person (payable at class).
Where: Copa (www.copabarandgrill.com) at Congress and 2nd Street (just a few blocks west of the Convention Center).
When: 3pm -- try to be there a little early. We can meet near the conference at 2:40 and walk over Copa together. I'll post a note later on that.
All ladies who participate are invited to attend Sabaya Bellydance Collective's "Sahara Nights" show in the evening at Copa; complimentary admission. It's a great way to apply what we've just learned!
Due to OVERWHELMING interest (yea, girls) Lily just opened a slot for a new class 4pm. If you want to switch over...reserve your space there first (http://twvt.us/sxswbd2), then change your RSVP here to "no" so other great ladies have a chance to join us.

If you miss us there, here's how to get to Copa from the Convention Center: Walk down 3rd street (past Fogo de Chao) to Congress Ave (about 3 blocks away). Copa will be on your left. See you there!

March 13th, 2010Selena Burke Faulkner Totally under the weather, and right before an awesome weekend full of bellydancing fun! I like sharing, but try to keep cooties to myself so I've sadly changed my RSVP to NO. If I feel better tomorrow I'll be checking to see if there is space left!
